After taking guitar lessons from John McCoy for 2 years, I found John to be an excellent, versatile guitarist of various styles and an excellent instructor. He is very knowledgeable of music and guitar theory, technique of various genres, including Jazz, Rock, Blues, Classical and Spanish Flamenco. He was willing to customize my lessons to meet my goals, allowed me to progress at my own pace and was responsive to my questions. He was very patient with me and could empathize with my struggles with gaining new skills. I highly recommend John as a guitar instructor.

Thanks for your introductory offer of buying one lesson and then getting one more lesson free as that is what prompted me to try your guitar lessons after checking out your website. I'm sold on your teaching and the effectiveness of your online Skype guitar lesson format. My previous teacher was 30 minutes away (one way) and he did not have your knowledge or skills. I have just paid for the next four lessons on your payment page. I'm highly recommending your services to a fellow band member and hopefully he'll get inspired to learn some new tricks from you.
